Founded in 1956 in China, Jiangsu Linhai Group's small engine manufacturing tradition merges with Yamaha Motor Company's advanced technology and innovation orientation. The two manufacturers signed a partnership in 1994, bringing reliable, high-performance and, importantly, affordable vehicles and engines to the market. After the deal with Yamaha Motor, Linhai entered the ATV market in 2001 and soon became a serious competitor to famous brands like Suzuki, Kawasaki or even Yamaha, offering comparable quality but at a much lower price. Thus, Linhai has come to produce more than 500,000 ATVs per year, equipped with engines for a wide range of needs, starting from 50 cc to 600 cc.
